Christian Paradis Lends Support to Mayor Berthold Ottawa, Ontario, March 9, 2009 — Christian Paradis, Minister of Public Works and Government Services and MP for Mégantic—L’Érable, is helping Thetford Mines Mayor Luc Berthold with his inquiries concerning the Kraft Hockeyville contest and has contacted Canadian Heritage Minister James Moore on the matter.
“Mayor Berthold wants to ask some questions on behalf of the citizens who invested their time in this contest,” said Minister Paradis. “I want to help him get answers from the CBC and have already discussed the subject with Minister Moore.”
“I would also like to congratulate the people who organized Thetford Mines’ entry in the contest. Their efforts got everyone pulling together. Let’s keep up the great work in the region,” he added.
Results of the Kraft Hockeyville contest were announced Saturday, March 7, 2009.
